She leverages a thorough understanding of the Congressional and Executive Branch policy-making processes and the ability to persuasively communicate complex concepts and programs at the highest level of government and business. She provides strategic insight and vision while advising on issues to advance business strategies. She has extensive experience building and managing coalitions and corporate partnerships while creating organizational strategic plans designed to meet broad business goals.

She has 29 years of experience owning and operating a small business consulting firm specializing in health care reimbursement, billing and coding, veterans' transition, military issues, and a focus on the appropriate use of competency-based credentials in many industries.  She has specialized experience in creating work-based learning programs for industry utilization, as well as competency-based frameworks for certification exam utilization.
